Remote proctoring is not currently available.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you live outside the Austin area or outside the ACC service district, you may request to take the A&amp;P I Assessment Test at an approved testing center. This test must be completed <em>in person<\/em> at a proctoring site such as a college, university, or public library that offers test proctoring services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please do not submit a request if you plan to test at an ACC campus \u2014 those requests will not be processed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To view locations and hours for ACC Assessment\/Testing Centers, please click <a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.austincc.edu\/tsi-assessment\/assessment-schedule\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Request a Non-ACC Proctoring Site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To request an outside testing site, complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeMyLbbI65NdNTa0Ta_0MFzwcnNWnsx6ezReU9R94FH0WTf5w\/viewform\">A&amp;P I Proctor Request Form<\/a>. Before filling out the form, please identify a testing location near you and gather the following details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name of the test center (college, university, or public library)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A contact name and email address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Website link for the test center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once your form is submitted, the Biology Department will verify the testing site and follow up with next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that this form must be submitted by <strong>Monday, August 17, 2026<\/strong> to allow enough time to coordinate testing materials with the proctoring site before your exam appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please do not schedule your test until the site is approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">After Your Site Is Approved<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you\u2019ve received approval from the department:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Schedule your exam directly with the approved test center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email <a href=\"\/biology-dev\/anahi.morales@austincc.edu\">anahi.morales@austincc.edu<\/a> with:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your ACCeID<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your scheduled test date and time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A copy of your ACC receipt for the $10 assessment fee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After that, we\u2019ll send your exam to the approved testing center before your test date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your test will be graded within 1 \u2013 2 business days. Your score will be sent to your ACC student email.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you pass, you\u2019ll be added to the registration permission list for BIOL 2401.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019re unable to make testing arrangements, you should plan to enroll in the <a href=\"https:\/\/sem.austincc.edu\/biology-dev\/paired-anatomy-physiology-i-and-biology-fundamentals-2\/\">paired BIOL 1308\/2401 course<\/a> instead, which does not require the A&amp;P I Assessment Test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Otherwise, students should reach out to an academic advisor to find a different course on their degree plan for the upcoming semester.
