Water splashing

What To Expect In Class:

Physics
Lectures: Use of traditional methods except that I ask a lot of questions so that you begin to think about the questions you will inevitably encounter as you try problems on your own.

Lab:
In person: Mainly ACC labs are used. Lab results must be shown to be before you leave so that I am sure that you ran the lab effectively. If errors are large then we will sit down and try to figure out where small issues became large ones. This means that you should get most of the points for the lab if your group put forth your best efforts.

Online: A mixture of ACC labs, and other software are used. Other than that, lab time should run similarly to the in person labs.

Astronomy
Lecture: Powerpoints are sent to you before class each time. Again I will ask a lot of questions to gauge your overall understanding of the material, both before going through the lecture and during it.

Lab:
Labs will be a mixture of in class exercises, videos and two projects. These projects depend on whether you are taking the stellar astronomy course or the solar system astronomy course.
