Students who are dropped from a biology course may request reinstatement, depending on the reason for the drop. Please review the steps below carefully and follow the instructions that apply to your situation.
Dropped for a Reason Other Than Non-Payment:
If you were dropped for a reason such as an attendance error or an accidental drop, follow the steps below:
- Email your instructor as soon as possible. You may also cc [email protected] to loop in the Biology Admin Office.
- In your email, include the following:
- Your full name
- Your ACCeID
- The course number, section, and synonym
- A clear explanation of why you’re requesting reinstatement, such as:
- You accidentally dropped yourself from the course
- You were marked as “never attended” in error
- You contacted the instructor and are requesting to be added back
Please Note:
- Reinstatement is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the instructor.
- If reinstated, it may take up to 24 hours for Blackboard access to update.
- Be sure to follow up with your instructor to catch up on any missed work or assignments.
