UT-ACC Biotech Dual Enrollment For Students
What is the program?
The program promotes UT students to seek dual enrollment with ACC and UT so they can complete the post bac certification in Biotechnology while at the same time finish their 4-year degree in Biochemistry at the University of Texas. UT students can take biotechnology courses at EVC or RRC over the 4 years
they are enrolled at UT. Usually students wait until sophomore or junior year but they can start sooner if they know they want to work in the biotech industry. The last course in the ACC Biotechnology program is the capstone internship course. Traditionally students take this course if they want to transition into a job as many local employers hire students immediately after they finish this course. Presently, the ACC Biotech Program has 100% placement and has even placed students in industry in other states.
