LinneaWelcome from the Austin Community College Biotechnology Program! We are excited to be offering a course of study that trains students in the area Life Science industry.

Our program accommodates high school students (dual credit courses), students seeking an Associate’s degree that leads to a job, career changers, and students with 4-year degrees in the Life Sciences needing advanced training in Biotechnology. Once students finish their internship, they are ready to enter a new career in the biotechnology workforce and advance up the technician career ladder regardless of their degree (4 year or 2 year).

The Biotechnology Program has been placing students in industry for over fifteen years and continues to grow with the advent of the wet-lab industry incubator space at the new Highland Campus and its cutting edge technology that will facilitate direct partnerships with our students and local biotech companies!

We look forward to you joining the program and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, any faculty member in the program, or our administrative assistant, Steve Spurlock.

With Warmest Regards,

Dr. Linnea Fletcher
